have just discovered a story about a 35yr old woman whose young daughter was allegedly raped and killed by an old man. when the case was filed before the courts of law for justice to be permited, the man was acquited on grounds that the prosection had not adduced enough evidence to actually prosecute the offender. Initially, its the cardinal principle of our criminal justice system that if the prosecution doesnot adduce enough evidence and it leaves doubt in the minds of the judges concerning whether the accused commited the crime or not, then a case is decided infavor of the accused..that is what happened here:now this woman still lives on with the grief of loosing her child while the alleged offender goes away free...this a call.. for us to keep praying for those victims who suffer at the hands of merciless men and also for our justice systems..remember God is a God of Justice and truth en His mercies endure to all generations.
