have not been ignoring the group but have been unable to crochet for the past week. My aunt, who will be 100 in 2 weeks from today fell last Monday night and has been in hospital ever since and I have been going back and forth ever since. Luckily, she only fractured a rib (and the doctors are not really sure that it is actually fractured - apparently on old people, a fracture in the rib is not easy to tell as their ribs are very soft??). The only good thing to come of this fall is that she is now in the same hospital (and even same wing) as her baby brother, whom until last Thursday night, she had not seen for 2 years due to her living on a second floor with no elevator and him being ill and also refusing to go up her stairs. Their rooms are just across the hall from each other. All to say, I havent picked up a crochet hook for close to a week.!! Am hoping to continue my WIPS this week. I have been looking (when I get the chance to) at all the neat stuff everybody is making and I am in AWE at some of these new crocheters who are making fabulous stuff!! Keep up the good work!!
