heard the one about busy as a one eyed cat watching two mouse holes? That kinda describes my night......first i feel/hear a thud (or was it distant thunder?) get up to check things out and hear a sound near the door....find the door slightly ajar and unlocked ...flip on porch light and all is well, cat looks relaxed.. get back to bed and start to relax too. Out of the corner of my eye I see a giant spider land on the nightstand inches from my head......of course, I didnt see where it went from there, because I was looking for something to use to smash it. Just almost getting over all that when I hear rustling behind the dresser where I had put the sticky trap for the mouse *(or worse) thats been causing me nightmares by scurrying around IN MY ROOM. Hubby sleeping blissfully through it all. Oh, I can tell already that this is gonna be a LOOOOONG night.
