hebrews 9:1-28. no new temple, whether for jew or gentile is needed. jesus fulfilled the temple requirements. our temple is in christ. we do not look for a new earthly temple, but the temple that comes down out of heaven. just as the jews rejected jesus and his sacrifice, so to they reject the true temple which is christ. and they seek a temporal temple. nothing has changed. christ has always been the object of worship and sacrifice. to revert back to temple sacrifice, is to make christs sacrifice obsolete. but the inverse has taken place. the covenant god made previously has been made obsolete, through christ. for he has made a new covenant with man.
