hello everyone. i need some major help. i recently adopted a dog, bijili, as you all know and the previous fosters failed to mention the extent of her separation anxiety issues. everytime i leave the house she poops and pees all over, she has started destroying everything- books, sheets, pillows, carpets etc. to be honest, as much as i love dogs, im a realist. i live alone, ive just moved to a new city, i support myself and i already have one dog i adopted 7 months ago (hero) who has his own issues, and there is no way i would have adopted a dog with such severe problems if i had known. in any case, now naturally i cant give her up, and im not going to. i dont think id be able to live with myself besides i know nobody would be willing to take on a dog who is so traumatized. firstly a big f*ck you to the people who had adopted her before me because it is only because of their negligence and their retardedness that she has developed such a serious case of anxiety. secondly, im going to get her a kong, get her anxiety meds, put her her in training with me. but if anyone has dealt with a dog with such major seperation anxiety please, please share your knowledge. im really exhausted and super tired of coming home everyday, 3 times a day, to find hero in a corner and my house a mess. wits end.
