hello friends! right now, there is a show on cartoon network called STEVEN UNIVERSE. it is one of the most delightful and loving shows ive ever had the privilege to watch for free. its main character is a young boy named steven, cared for by three magical entities called crystal gems, aptly named garnet, amethyst, and pearl. this show approaches gender, age, and family in ways i have never seen - its more innovative and progressive even than adventure time, while managing to be sublimely beautiful at the same time. now to the point - its about to get the axe from cartoon network because its rating arent high enough!!!!! unacceptable!!!! i refuse to let this show die in its infancy. please, do yourself (and the show) a favor by doing any of the following things: -spreading word of mouth (like posting about it on facebook or tweeting about it) -buying merchandise (tshirts, DVDs, phone cases) from the official cartoon network store -if you have cable, downloading the cartoon network app on your mobile device and streaming the episodes (if you feel like a marathon, streaming all 38 episodes in a row is a surefire way to send the ratings THROUGH THE ROOF!) and heres a link with a few more ways you can help out. i know this seems trivial, but as an aspiring animator i cant sit back and let this happen. besides, steven universe is an experience! make sure its a GOOD experience. now go out and have FUN! #BELIEVEINSTEVEN ponett.tumblr/post/108595793697
