hey guys with D.C. Fishing license. Have you got anything or heard anything about a screwup with their online fishing license this year? Below is an e-mail I got, actually i got about 20 or 30 of these e-mails. I never replied to it, figured it was a scam. I got my license back in Febuary of this year. Greetings fellow anglers: The District Department of the Environment (DDOE) dutifully informs you that while you successfully completed the online fishing license application, you were not charged for the license due to a technical malfunction. Your financial contribution to the District of Columbia’s recreational angling program via the purchase of a fishing license is vital to the success of this program. Therefore, DDOE politely requests that you login to your online account and remit the required payment. We thank you in advance for your prompt attention to this matter and continued support. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. There was more to the e-mail including a couple links, but Im not going to post that because i dont know if it is legit or not.
