hhhnmmmmmmmmmmm kakalma lang ako promise !!! Let me give my share to this. FIRST, the way I see the image, it’s not the image of MAMA MARY, it’s the image of St. Therese of the Child Jesus, kung magsasalita lang yung imahe naku sasabihin niya hindi siya si MARIA. It’s just so happen that the image is colored white but the iconic figure is st. therese. Nevertheless, they still disrespect an image of a holy person. SECOND, the catholic church never taught nor written in any church document that we worship or pray TO Mama Mary, rather the Catholic Church taught us to venerate and pray WITH Mary. Mary is not God but she is the Mother of the Son of God thus Mary is the mother of God. THIRD, saints are like heroes of CATHOLIC CHURCH. Yes we make image of them but not to worship them but to be reminded that like them as sinner as they are they follow Christ teaching and participate to His mission. Saints are there to be our model to follow the GREATEST MODEL of our life – JESUS CHRIST. To the pastor, I respect your belief, Jesus loves you so much. Just make sure that you made your assignment and did some “real” research coz you might be ending barking at the wrong tree. God Bless.
