how much would you pay for the daughter of mosul the mongols handbag 14th century 700 years old.. obviously not the worlds first handbag... 700year old stds would be off putting.. but maybe it has magic economic power.. budget winning or cursing for ever.. anyone with a lot of money would rather buy the latest fashions and build up a collection.. or get one of their own designs manufactured... chuffed with the £5 quid wallet made by tibetan expats in exile in india looks really cool... but that bag would probably end up in a museum.. maybe in the getty LA or in Milan somewhere.. theyd have the budgets to compete but it would have to be historically positioned to win it.. the sort of thing catherine zeta jones would get the oceans 11 team to pinch for sure.. how much would michael douglas or sean connery pay... 630,000 USD i reckon... probably as a tax write off charitable donation to the getty...
