I bought myself Rocksmith 2014 for Christmas and it has been by far the best 49.95 i have spent ever on anything gaming related. Its not just a game..its an interactive teacher with the ability to hear you play and give feedback during lessons. Its Also very fun to learn with and that helps keep me focused. I dont have to drag out my amp and processor and extension cords every time I want to practice because its all built into the software and every aspect of your sound is fully customizable. I have my sound output via Optical from my Xbox One too my Sony surround sound head unit to give a good crisp sound without a delay ( how i would suggest anyone setting up theirs) I dont own a Bass...but I can have the game emulate one using my 6 string...very nice to have. I already knew the basics like major cords and how to play them ..i just had no steady rhythm in my picking hand and lacked any speed with my fret hand, Rocksmith seriously helps me with both these issues and am already playing a couple of songs only after the 2nd day.
