https://youtube/watch?v=5gfMLu9EPWY Hardcore action movies are hard to come by. These days, we either get fantastic masterpieces like the Raid duology, or complete letdowns like The Expendables 3. Luckily, there are many movie-makers who believe that we need more of the former. Two such gentlemen are Adam Wingard and Simon Barrett. While the former has directed the fantastic home invasion thriller Youre Next and a segment in V/H/S/2, the latter has co-written the above mentioned films in addition to V/H/S. Both of them have collaborated again to bring to us The Guest. The film follows a man named David who shows up at the doorstep of the Petersons, who are grieving over the death of their eldest son, claiming to be his buddy from the army. But soon it starts becoming clear that he is hiding some dark secrets. A new trailer for the film has hit the net and it is cut by the director of the insane action fiesta, Hobo with a Shotgun, Jason Eisner. The trailer is awesome and does a swell job of setting the tone and proceedings of the film clearly. Check it out and let us know what you think about it.
