https://youtube/watch?v=MDcEUBADJJI Not a cryptid, but this is something that I find interesting. This shows that even common known animals can exist in uncommon habitats. For another example, a few years ago a manatee traveled up the Mississippi River. For a while, nobody believed the reports of this animal from the gulf had traveled up the Mississippi River until it was found in a harbor in Memphis, TN (foxnews/story/2006/10/26/misguided-manatee-moves-up-mississippi-near-memphis/) This is a cryptid tale that turned out to simply be a misguided marine mammal. With all of these animals doing incredible feats and the fact that 95% of our underwater world has yet to be explored, it is hard to believe that some of these cryptids are paleontological anomalies or mythical creatures. Maybe, perhaps, they are simply new species that have risen from deeper depths of the ocean or commonly known organisms that have strayed from home. Until we know for sure, we will keep on searching for something that either debunks these mighty monsters or proves their existence. Keep on hunting!
