https://youtube/watch?v=XBPvxao6o5I Ballet My Name is Nobody had its premiere in April at Croatian National Theatre of Varaždin as part of the 26th Zagreb Music Biennale programme. Ballet explores the evolution of the Western notion of the system of individuals integration into a society of individuals which - on the one hand - relies on their psychological need to be led, i.e. that their individual thoughts become overpowered by the common ideology advocated by an extraordinary, predominant individual, and - on the other hand - their resistance to it through the idea of rebellion and revolution that is imprinted in the very foundations of the monotheistic religions of the West. Composer born in Dubrovnik Frano Đurović , in addition to a series of orchestral, chamber and instrumental pieces, has authored a large number of electronic and electro-acoustic works, installations and multimedia projects, in which he successfully combines music with different visual art forms. Awarded a number of prestigious prizes, he currently serves as Senior Lecturer at the Zagreb Academy of Music. Massimiliano Volpini is an Italian choreographer of global recognition who danced with numerous ensembles in Italy, including La Scala ballet from 1991, where he began to also work as a choreographer in 1995. Since then, he created many ballets at La Scala and recently has collaborated with the New York Choreographic Institute. Members of the Dance Ensemble are all educated at abroad at the international academies, namely: Dina Ekštajn, Ida Jolić, Zvonimir Kvesić, Irena Mikec and Petra Valentić. After this impressive and visually attractive ballet, which all generations find appealing, contemporary dance ONE&TWO by worldwide recognized authorities of contemporary dance - Emio Greco and Pieter C. Scholten will follow on August 7.
