Because its starting to look a lot like the siege of Leningrad down there. Pretty much a Artillery and Cluster Bomb pocked moonscape of destroyed armor and buildings reduced to rubble. Very different than what were used to in the Middle East. The Russians and the Ukrainians have plenty of Armor, Air and Artillery and have a historical willingness to use it.
