I have survived even though to be honest some days I dont know how. you were my everything to me. there is so much we were suppose to do. you were going to teach me more house repairs, we were going to paint the two front rooms together and organize the shed. well i organized the shed without you and I think you would like it. your grandaughter ask for you everyday. she doesnt understand where her best friend went. you always told us over and over again take care of momma take care of momma. well I am trying my hardest and I hope it gives you comfort. me and mom spent a wonderful day by your grave. I love listining to the boats go buy on the river and the church bells ring. we visited with your favorite cousin Donna Blanchard Landry and your Godchild Lauren Johnson who shared great stories about you. it felt good to here about you growing up. we visited Nanan Dorris and she talked about you and enjoyed looking at old photos. I miss you so much. this song reminds me of me because deep inside if feel like that lost 5 year old looking for you. I love you so much daddy.
