Many of these Vets are women with children. This is one of the greatest countries in the world but our Government really drops the ball when it comes to what happens to Vets that are trying to get a life back after they return. If you watch this show you will see a woman doing an amazing job at helping some of these people get jobs and allow them to live in her house as needed. Its Christmas time and these people, many with kids are not concerned about getting a parking spot in the mall, no, they are concerned about where the next meal is coming from, how are they going to buy school clothes for their children never mind toys. A couple weeks ago the McCabe family sent a check written out in the name of the founder of the Jubilee house. All I asked was that she looked around her and spent it as she felt fit. I was hoping that this money would buy hope and possibly some smiles. Today I got a very heart felt letter back from her expressing her warm and sincere gratitude. She also included the receipts from the grocery store she went to so she would be able to provide a special meal for the 19 people that are currently living there to enjoy together! So many of us waste a lot of money on things we want, not just the things we need. Please take a moment to see if perhaps you can do just one more thing this Christmas than you usually do to help someone that is doing all they can to make it on their own but needs a little help, Merry Christmas to all!!!!
