Integration with local environment and community We also suggest the hotel to further connect with the local environment and the community through various ways. First, bird hides can be constructed so that guests can appreciate the Egrets without disturbing the birds natural life. Also, organic farming area allows the guests to have a taste of green lifestyle. The farming area will also utilize the organic fertilizer produced by the hotel kitchen waste through the commercial composting machine proposed above. Furthermore. organising eco tour around Egret Lake gives guests a unique experience to explore the natural beauty of the spectacular lake view. Lastly, annual photo competition and cycling competition could be held to strengthen the bond between the hotel and local residents.
