Frozen might have just redefined the way Disney explores the theme of love in its stories telling the tale of family love, the problems of romantic love and above all self love and acceptance, but this film Beauty and the Beast stands for me as the perfect demonstration of love. Its no prince and princess, nor is it love at first sight. The fact of the matter is that love can surprise you. Yes we all might have a certain definition of beauty that we all cling to being our Prince Charming or Princess and yes wed be lying if we were to saying wed give up trying to find them but ultimately sometimes the greatest part of falling in love is to literally fall and let all those assumptions go. Its hard to see but we all have the power to do it. Sometimes life is bittersweet and strange. But the beautiful message this film gives for generations is that it will never stop you from finding you can change, learning you were wrong. Love isnt always about two souls finding peace through a selfish wish fulfilment in getting the girl or guy of their dreams. Sometimes its case of learning the love you never knew you were capable of. That is after all the greatest gift you will ever discover for yourself.
