i am starting my poetic monologue.. i speak through an assumed voice—a character, a fictional identity, or a persona.. a persona poem ….my dictionary! ‘artist, the illusionist’ (monologue poetry #1) ‘my life is all an illusion.. painted by me.. pallette of colours.. strokes of brushes.. varied canvasses.. my fingers.. my palms.. whatever means and medium to arrive at my desired result!’ —adecaparas orosa manilah— “Fair and foul are near of kin, And fair needs foul,” I cried. —W. B. Yeats— an artist.. i paint my life a self portrait, a landscape, a seascape, a mountainscape my sense of sureness is at full speed! ahhhh! a master piece i am so overwhelmed.. bewildered deafening applauses.. i can’t contain.. this trompe l’oeil (deception) soon loses its bells it’s not the glory, the joy.. the kind of nuance i desire! i want the possible excellence.. the splendour a splendid moment.. an illusion of helping.. giving.. a heroin! must i kill to live steal to have a savage before i am tamed? be ugly before i can be beautiful vertiginous games of contradictions.. controversies! immoralities before moralities unions of evil and goodness existence isn’t possible without! painting and philosophical monologue by: adecaparas orosa manilah sunday 10:21am 21 september 2014 sydney australia
