Theres a big Magic event going on the same day at Gamescape, but I talked to the manager and hes renting us out the bigtop tables, and two table benches, so we should be fine for tablespace. So its definitely happening at Gamescape, Saturday the 17th of Jan, one week from tomorrow. Games start at 1pm, but make sure youre there by at least 12:40. To recap, the games will be played in 3 rounds, 75 points, 100 points and then 125 points. Each of your three squadrons have to have one pilot in common to be your flagship, but otherwise they can be three completely different squads. The format is not elimination, if you lose in round one youll be in the next two rounds. You get points for everything of your opponents you kill/make them discard in a round, and the points are cumulative. The player with the most points at the end of the event wins. Ill also be recording how many points each player has LOST cumulatively, but thats only to be a tie breaker in the very unlikely event of t̶i̶e̶s̶.̶ even scores. Round 1 will be played with 6 asteroids and 75 points per player, 1 hour time limit. Round 2 will be played with 6 debris clouds and 100 points per player 1.5 hour time limit. Round 3 will be played with mystery obstacles, and 125 points per player 2 hour time limit. The first place prize is a glamorous 3x3 playing mat made by HC&D supplies. Every else can have their fill of Wookiee Cookiees (so good theyll rip your arm off) and the constant reminder that you just arent good enough to win a small, Jar Jar themed local tournament, you worthless Ewok.
