i posted this song a few while back, and wondering what it was about because the melody is very captivating but these georgian girls seem to be enjoying singing it. effortless beauty, to say the least. turned out it is a traditional georgian song related to a very unique custom where a woman and a man would stay together for a night as equals, and they would spend the time to talk about life, philosophy, love, etc. the relationship is platonic and only last for that night only. the song is a conversation between the man and the woman, leading to the morning where they must part ways. its sad, its romantic, its happy, its confusing, its frustrating, its doomed, and it promotes equality. its just plain awesome custom. plain awesome song. at first youd think its just another annoying video by some talent-less annoying teenagers making duck faces, but once they started singing, youll want to shut up and listen.
