i remember being in Junior High in Boston when Metallica dropped the groundbreaking album Master of Puppets (their 3rd album). It was probably the biggest event of my entire life. It wasnt until Public Enemy dropped It Takes a Nation of Millions... that another album would rattle my world like that. I know a majority of you dont listen to metal music, but (just like hip hop - in general - used to be taken way more seriously by artists) the musicianship in metal music used to be absolutely perfect. The Metallica song Disposable Heroes used to pump through my veins... I was always amazed at how they would speed 100 miles a minute then stop on a dime. Absolutely incredible. Every time I watch this video, I am flabbergasted by how these dudes were just as incredible LIVE (in their prime). Bro!
