i wrote this poem a while ago but in light of all thats happened, the pain i feel wont let me rest at ease with how sad our reality is. So this here is my Truth n these words bleed my heart on these sleeves. They want you to believe that racism is an illusion were using to excuse all our doings as we point out the truth, Then blame us for getting mad an say were too busy livin in the past as they keep killing our youth. Oppressions deceit you see is convincing the oppressed that its lessened and weak, I mean Its hard to ask one about a privilege they dont even know they possess, Just to be called a reverse racist whatever that is for even pointing it out We all know Mike brown wasnt the last one, he was just the last one anybody cared about. I get that this isnt America trust me I know, but even so Arent ALL policemen sworn to serve an protect? Well then why did Michael Atakelts family get nothing but serves of regret as they served them neglect? Why was my sister harassed in a bus load of people with cameras pointed at her an they all saw the evil to just then turn the other cheek N pretend they couldnt see, Then while policeman laughin he telling me to relax coz these things happen Seems to me like the law lately is nothing more than a fight for a title With law makers breaking laws best leaving us with nothing but a fight for survival Whatever happened to change? Coz I dont know if you know, an I digress but tragedy n silence have the same exact address Malcolm X got quoted a racist for saying we will never find justice in a white mans court Now decades on, Dear Fergusson who woulda ever thought #StillNomads. #AllWeWantToDoIsBeFree
