Most people doing the challenge dont even know what ALS stands for. In my work field I have met a few people suffering from ALS and Parkinson. Both are movement disorders affecting the brain and spinal cord. The ability of the brain to initiate muscle movement is lost. People suffering from a motor neuron disease suffer from muscle weakness, twitching/muscle cramps, problems with speech, shortness of breath and difficulty swallowing... We cannot start to comprehend what life is like for people with ALS or any other motor neuron disease. I have seen people fighting this illness, and they are truly one of the strongest spirits I have ever met in my life. That is why I accepted the challenge with great pleasure as I honor them. This is my way of letting them know that they are in my heart, mind and prayers. With this bucket of water Im sending out positive energy to all those suffering letting them know that I see them, I hear them and that they matter! So, I nominate you all to DONATE! We need money for research! Inshallah, with Gods will well find a cure. ps. If you donate you may ask me for the video :D…. I even have blooper material !!!
