Establish a clear reward: they get a smoothie or a snack after the workout. 3. Have them focus on the reward; almost anticipating the reward. The goal is to create a craving. The National Weight Control Registry found that most successful dieters envisioned a specific reward for sticking with their diet - a bikini they wanted to wear of the sense of the pride they went the they stepped on a scale each day - something they chose carefully or really wanted. Its up to you, the trainer to help them discover what they really want, help remind them of it and hold them accountable for it.
