Due to his immense liking for fire magic, he lost both of his hands due to extreme exposure to the cursed fire he created. The fire consumed his hands and also replaced them, and it caused Demovalus to become even stronger in fire magic. The cursed fire also corrupted his mind, and caused him to start turning to evil means to gain what he wants. He has heard of an angel from the heavens who became a human, and has set his mind on destroying the Soriyu Clan in hopes of gaining more power, by controlling the comrades that are in the Clan. It is said that Demovalus cannot be beaten by anyone except a girl who trains under waterfalls day and night, and till this very day, it is unknown what has happened to Demovalus.
