in my own humble opinion and my own computation. shocking truth is that Salve Duplito is wrong in computing Philequity growth. Philequity 5 year return with 5k initial investment 5k minus 3.5% sales load (biggest sales load fee) is equals to 4825 4825 divided by 13.0997 ( navps as of 12/29/2009) is equal to 368 shares 368 shares multiplied to 37.1886 ( navps as of 12/29/2014) is equal to 13685.4048 which is 173.70% increase from 5000 Index percentage increase for 5 years 2009 year end index - 3052.68 2014 year end index - 7230.57 an index increase of 136.86% Which is better 173.70% (philequity) or 136.86% (index) ? Any MF expert out there who can confirm that I am computing this correctly?
