it is difficult to go through this season, I too am sick to my stomach even to mention Easter God told us to keep the Passover and Yeshua told us to do it in remembrance of Him. I am greatly saddened when we insist on remembering the most amazing wonderful sacrifice that God made to save us along with so many pagan celebrations. God set HIS days apart, so that we are set apart from the world. He told us not to, and never intended for us to celebrate Him in any way along with the worldly celebrations. He is Holy and He told us to be Holy... that means set apart just for HIM... not mixed in with the things of the world. So many of the worlds Easter customs are slap in the face to God, taking the things He declaired unclean and saying that because of His sacrifice they are now clean. Man is the only thing God made clean through the blood that Christ shed for us. The rest never changed. God does not change... but God does love and desire an intimate relationship with His children therefore He sacrificed His son in order to bring us back into that relationship. He is a jealous God who does not accept sharing the attention of His children with any pagan god or mans traditions. We either love God with ALL our heart or we love the world. We cannot serve both. Mixing the two causes lukewarm believers and God said He will vomit them out of his mouth.
