it isnt easy being an older dog. Jack deals with aches and pains and a smarta** little sister that is always whipping around, taking all the toys.... Jack never complains and is ever the gentleman... his pleasures are simple; food, a soft place to nap, and to sit outside and enjoy a pretty day - with the occasional trot around the yard.... but this afternoon, as i glanced out the window, Jack was PLAYING with a tennis ball! i cant tell you how happy it made me to see him doing this. there was complete abandon in his joy - playing... the pics are a little grainey, taken through the window and screen. but it makes me ever so happy to see....nita
