japanese restaurant at SOMERSET is hiring for ----KITCHEN SUPERVISOR ----salary : $1900-$2400 ---CHEF/COOK--- ----salary: $1400-$1800 ----salary negotiable depending on work experience --Overtime pay will be 1.5X ----6 Days work week ---10.30-2.30pm ---5.30-10.30pm (SPLIT SHIFT) --JOB SCOPE: Kitchen Supervisor ---Responsibilities: • Responsible for managing and overseeing restaurant kitchen operations • Accountable for food cost management • Responsible for the running and supervision of food preparation and production to ensure food quality standards are met and delivered • Responsible for the recruitment, discipline, termination and performance assessment of the kitchen crew • Assist in menu planning and the creation and development of new dish • Train and demonstrate proper cooking techniques and equipment usage Requirements: • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar capacity • Good culinary skills with sound knowledge in all work stations in a Japanese restaurant • Good communicator with leadership qualities • Able to work split shifts, and on weekends and public holidays • Able to work well under pressure • Passion for food and culinary arts -Kitchen Chef -Responsibilities: • Prepare and cook Japanese cuisine • Ensure kitchen hygiene and cleanliness • Control food quality and taste • Assist to manage food cost and wastage, and food inventory • Assist with stock and supplies checks --Requirements: • Good culinary skills with sound knowledge kitchen operations • Able to work split shifts, and on weekends and public holidays • Able to work well under pressure • Passion for food and culinary arts • Pleasant disposition with positive attitude • Willing to learn If interested pls send your resume to [email protected] or SMS Sherly @97408798 quote name, age, nric and KITCHEN SUPERVISOR/CHEF
