lamton county OPP are investigating a case of animal cruelty that has also uncovered a cache of unknown chemicals . On Friday, a 22 year old man from Forest was taken into custody, where he remains at this time. Officers executed a search warrant at a home on MacKenzie Street in Forest and came across a quantity of unknown liquid chemicals Officers from the OPP Urban Search and Rescue Chemical Biological Radiological Nuclear Explosives Response Team are on scene to deal with the unknown chemicals. Police say there is no risk to the public and no evacuations being performed. Paramedics and firefighters are also on scene as a precaution while OPP officers manage the chemicals.
