last night I went to check out the super moon down at Bishop Park. there was a middle aged Muslim woman sitting on the bench where I normally like to sit so I asked her if she minded if I sat down - she didnt. I sat down, took out my guitar and went into my arrangement of Blackbird by the Beatles. when I was done, the woman told me it was her birthday, that shed been alone all day and that my music was the best birthday present shed ever received. I continued to play and sing for her for around a half hour before we parted. this, my friends, is exactly why I play music.
