late notice, sorry I was on vacation…. Old Line Velo Trailwork tomorrow night - Monday 7-14 - 6pm - right in the Avalon area of the park. Part of the August Patapsco Epic route will travel on rarely used trail from the dam up to Ilchester Road. Well be cleaning it up and making it passable and less death-defying for the event. If you ride there, just head upstream from the swinging bridge on the HoCo side of the river - well be meeting at the end of the parking lot but the work site is up past the dam If you are driving... As you come in to the park from South Street, let the person at the control station know you are there for trail maintenance with MORE/Old Line Velo ( free admission ). Pass under the Thomas Viaduct, turn left at Gun Road/stop sign, cross the river and bear right onto River Road as you begin to pass the two big pavilions in Avalon. Continue for 2 miles ( give or take ) to parking lot just beyond the swinging bridge. There is about a 10 minute walk on easy trail to the work site
