letter from member of West Virginia Highlands Conservancy urges no delay in implementation of Senate water bill #wvwatercrisis Dear Senator Kessler: It is both astounding and shocking to me that proposals are being sent to Governor Tomblin to delay the passage of SB 373 for reasons of uncertainty for affected industries and families that rely on them for employment. What about uncertainties for thousands of residents in our area who rely on clean water for health? Both industry and employment are drastically affected when clean water is not available.We have already seen the effects from the fiasco which happened in January of this year. If SB 373 is not passed - and quickly - I predict an exodus from our state. I hope that you and House Speaker Miley will reconsider your call for delay of this bill. Many thousands of residents are counting on you to do this. Kathryn Stone
