letter to wc news editor,, see if it gets printed,, I really doubt it,,,It seems more and more the courts of the land are ruling against the citizen,,seemingly the Supreme court rulded if you chose your right to remain silent,, that could be used as evidence against you in court, admission of guilt so to speak,,they also attacked the Miranda warning of your right to remain silent and has upheld ones actions and statements because one was not under arrest. What is an arrest, if you are locked in a facility, you cannot not leave unless one in authority opens the door,, is this arrest, or false imprisonment,,at the time you cannot walk freely,,are you arrested or detained,, i have experienced such. The courts of the land have chipped away at the constitution and the rights of citezens that it has become pathetic. Smart cops play on this,, i was a cop for almost 28 years,, i disagree with this ruling,, as Charles Brown the Chief Public Defender told me,, backed on recording , "in America we no longer have a Bill of Rights" backed by his seceretary"s statment when i went to work here i thought it was a just place of justice,, but many innocent go to jail, not what i thought it was". When are we going to say enough is enough,,,when are we going to demand THE U.S. Constitution be upheld with the rights of citizens and not just for illegals.? As the Chief public Defender told me,, "we have no Bill of Rights," you are now looked at as guilty untill proven innocent",, that is not the law, the law is you are innocent untill proven guilty,,,,question,, how can sanctions be brought against one untill they are convicted,, i am a living example.
