lf we break a leg and you to walk on it, do we really expected to heal ?... If we have a cold and continue to go outside in the damp and cold this barefooted, do we really expect it to get better ?....lf we touch a hot stove and get burned, and then go back in touch with the second time, do we expect not to get burned the second time because we were burned the first time ?.... If we go to court for speeding ticket for just a few miles over the speed limit and will holler at the judge, do expect to get the charges dropped ?....lf we are walking in the rain and elect not to take an umbrella, do we expect not to get wet ?.... If we have bad habits and cause our family and friends to constantly be upset with us and we continue to exercise these bad habits, do we expect the situation to get better ?....lf we scream and holler at our family and friends and call them ugly names, do we expect them not to get a Im offended?.... Ummmm, if we pray constantly and yet continue to send intentionally, do we expect these prayers get answered?.... I think we just answered our own question... Proverbs 1 24 Because I have called and you refused,I have stretched out my hand and no one regarded, 25 Because you disdained all my counsel, And would have none of my rebuke, 26 I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your terror comes, 27 When your terror comes like a storm, And your destruction comes like a whirlwind, When distress and anguish come upon you.28 “Then they will call on me, but I will not answer; They will seek me diligently, but they will not find me.29 Because they hated knowledge And did not choose the fear of the LORD, 30 They would have none of my counsel And despised my every rebuke. 31 Therefore they shall eat the fruit of their own way, And be filled to the full with their own fancies. 32 For the turning away of the simple will slay them, And the complacency of fools will destroy them; 33 But whoever listens to me will dwell safely, And will be secure, without fear of evil.” ………..Isaiah 1 15 When you spread out your hands in prayer I hide my eyes from you; even when you offer many prayers, I am not listening. Your hands are full of blood! 16 Wash and make yourselves clean. Take your evil deeds out of my sight; stop doing wrong. 17 Learn to do right; seek justice. Defend the oppressed. Take up the cause of the fatherless; plead the case of the widow. 18 “Come now, let us settle the matter,” says the LORD. “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool. 19 If you are willing and obedient, you will eat the good things of the land; 20 but if you resist and rebel, you will be devoured by the sword.” For the mouth of the LORD has spoken…….jus’ sayin’………….tim spears
