...little did I know when this message came to me how much it would mean, or that I would still be talking to this young lady almost two years later. For those who feel the world is going to hell, and indeed it may be, know that our young people are still worth fighting for....know that they have been as supportive as any group in helping us survive...know that they are not afraid to approach pain and offer prayer...know that they arent just college or high school or even middle school kids who dont get it....many more get it than we know. so thankful for everyone who keeps us in their thoughts and prayers....and who never fail to let us know they love all three... make that all four... of us. April 25, 2013 2:24 pm I understand that you dont know me. I go to gsu and know people that know (yes, still know) your sweet Cory. I just want you to know that me and my family pray very hard for you and your family. we are a family of 4...my brother passed away on New Years Eve of 2009....it hurt...it still hurts but prayer and support works! healing does happen. oh and we still consider to be a family of 4... I pray that you feel his presence and that you can understand that hes not gone...hes away for a little while. this life is just a blink in the grand scheme of things. its like theyre just in other places...just five more minutes are the words said at my brothers memorial service. like when your child asks are we there yet?...give it five more minutes. the day will come when we see them again...quicker than we realize but of course not soon enough. my heart hurts that your family is going through what mine has and is still going through. Im not saying its going to get easier, sorry to say it gets harder first...but we WILL make it and you are not alone. prayers always.
