The way to know that its serious when youve violated some civil law is to listen as the judge passes sentence. So there is your answer as to when something is morally wrong. You will find out on Judgment Day when you face the Judge of the Universe. In the meanwhile, He forewarns you that “all liars will have their part in the lake of fire,” so it would be wise to forget these worn out scenarios (that attempt to to justify sin) and repent and trust the Savior.
