love is d mutual heart to heart connection n commitment between a mature man n woman, love is more den just hw u feel. It is commitment to d well being of another person. Wat majority of people refer to as luv is their response to a particular emotional experience. U see someone n u feel somethin exciting, arousing, maybe sensual n u immediately describe ur experience as luv. Nothing could be farther frm d truth. For ur feelings 4 each other to quailfy as luv, they must be tested. If these emotions stand d test of time den u may being to think of d possibility dat wat u both feel for each other is real. Ur emotions should be mirrored against d world of GOd. Wat exactly r u feeling? For instance, do u want to enter into a romantic relationship with another persons man or woman n u call wat u feel love? There r a couple of things wrong with what u want to do. First, Ur feelings r based on lack of personal integrity. You knw this person is involved yet, U still want him or her in a relationship. Secondly, U r nt confident enough to go out n connect with someone on ur own merit. U r functioning in fear. Thirdly, No matter hw well ur little scheme works out, U will always feel dat u did nt deserve dis person. A feeling of worthlessness will always lurk somewhere in ur heart. Fourthly, U will never really gain d respect of d person u stole because he or she knws who u really are in spite of ur profession of luv; U are a love thief. There are several reasons why God permits us to have certain relationships. But because we are unable to discern d reason behind a certain association, we tag it dating, going out or some other label dat depicts romantic intimacy. In our lifetime, God will send people our way to carry out certain assignments in our lives. These people most times possess d information, wisdom, skill, or expertise we require to go through certain changes in our lives. We all go through tests n trials. We experience d pains associated with spiritual n emotional growth n during these sometimes stressful seasons of our lives, we require human assistance to help us through. Prayer has its place but it cannot accomplish what d words, touch, encouragement n presence of a friend can do 4 u. When u mistake a friend on assignment in ur life for somethin else, U will short circuit d process of help God has instituted in human relationships. Most times we attach labels to these God sent relationships because we feel they may be d answer weve been praying for. Some guys cannot get close to a lady without attaching some kind of luv label to it. She must be ur girl u must be involved or going out. A man loves d idea of possessing a woman. But only a mature man knws dat he doesnt own anybody. For a romantic relationship to exist, Ur feelings must be mutual. The other person must knw about hw u feel n he or she must be interested in having a relationship with u. If they are nt interested, you are just involved in fantasy. This isnt true love.
