m.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-24700001 All lies and bollocks. That tree had fallen over yesterday afternoon. Probably because its got hardly any rootball rather than strong winds. Its hardly devastation is it? I bet at least 10 trees a day fall on cars in the uk anyway. You managed to find one. 92 mph winds in the Isle of Wight? Way to go BBC. Make up a fact that no one can check. Isle of Wight? Haha! Its rained a bit but a flood in a house that a bloke can tackle single handedly with a dustpan is not a flood. Its a spill. Ive cleaned up bigger pools of dog piss. I feel terribly sorry for the parents of the boy that drowned, that is a tragedy, but please BBC, dont blame the weather. The sea is practically flat in those shots, other than what the helicopter is churning up. I watched the 10 oclock news last night for the first time in over a year. I quickly remembered why I stopped and lost faith. The three reporters on the weather couldnt even agree on the wind speed. The first said no more than 50mph. The second said 60mph and the weatherman said 80mph. Obviously they had got different fear memos. You got it wrong beeb. The only thing the uk is waking up to is no public transport, and confusion. Largely due to you and the media in general making shit up to scare people. Idiots.
