m.youtube/watch?v=gc2EcxUzgcY The actions of ISIL are in fact antithetical to the true Islamic teachings that were preserved of the Ahlul bayt (as). Unfortunately the vast majority of those claiming to be Muslims in the world today, accept the sources of aisha, Abu hurayrah and ana ibn Malik. These 3 accursed individuals fabricated many lies to the prophet Mohammad (sawa) portraying him to be a violent killer who had no mercy. This is the ideology of those who left the Islam of the ahlul bayt (as), for the so called Islam of the tyrants which ISIL is reviving today in its true form. Sheikh Yasser al-Habib spoke about the lies that exist about the Prophet (Peace be upon him and his pure family) in books like Bukari and Muslim, which claim that he brutally tortured and killed people, and explained that these Hadeeth were invented to justify the vicious and sadistic practices of the Banu Ummayah and their caliphs. Sheikh Yasser al-Habib explained that there are two ways that one can follow in this life, the one being of violence, deception and terror, or the other being the path of the Prophet and the Ahl Ul Bayt (Peace be upon them all). The first path was that of those who were at Saqifah to claim power for themselves, resulting in the violent legacy of the Banu Ummayah which lasts to this day. The Sheikh went on to clarify that people report the narrations and act in his name, but only to commit similar or worse offences, claiming that he did the same. In reality though, they are the furthest away from him. The Banu Ummayah established their rule by deceiving people and changing the religion to suit their purposes and justify their oppression and acts of barbarism. The Prophet (Peace be upon him and his pure family) was against violence and used the sword only in self defence or in pre-emptive strikes against and enemy determined to fight him. Imam Mahdi (Peace be upon him) will ask people to follow him and fight oppression, but will not call for senseless violence. Today we live in a time of governments that rule by the use of force in the name of faith. Sheikh Yasser al-Habib stressed that we have to ask ourselves who brought this situation about. He confirmed that when we look into history and read the Hadeeth of the Bakri sect in particular, we soon discover that the roots of misery were established by those fighting amongst each other for the caliphate. He added that there were many who fabricated Hadeeth to justify either their practices and policies, or those of their rulers in order to attain a certain status within the system from them. One of these was Anas Ibn Malik, who was one of the biggest deceivers while at the same claiming to have been a loyal servant to the faith. The Sheikh identified Abu Hurraira and Aisha as the other two greatest deceivers of Muslims. Sheikh Yasser al-Habib reminded his audience in his lecture that the infallible Imams (Peace be upon them) warned their followers of these three individuals the most, as they made the Prophet (Peace be upon him) look ignorant, lusting for women and suicidal. Sheikh Yasser al-Habib went on to speak about the damage that narrations like these cause to the Prophet’s reputation (Peace be upon him and his pure family) and Islam, as non-Muslims read these so called Hadeeth and use them against Islam. Anas Ibn Malik made him look like a brutal punisher, committing horrendous acts of barbarism which are unimaginable. The Sheikh added that Imam Baqir (Peace be upon him) criticized Ibn Malik severely for his false statements, as they even caused people to run away from Islam. Members of the Bakri sect today say that we focus only on these narrations and ignore their hadeeth which show the merciful side of the Prophet (Peace be upon him), but is they who are asking us to ignore hadeeth in their books. During his research, Sheikh Yasser al-Habib found Bakri hadeeth which claim that the Prophet (Peace be upon him and his pure family) was a brutal punisher without mercy, some of which were recorded in Bukhari, Volume 8, Book 82, Numbers 794 to 797, as reported at this website. The Sheikh said that according to these, the Prophet (Peace be upon him and his pure family) was supposed to have cut peoples limbs, brutally blinded them and left them to roast in the sun. Sheikh Yasser al-Habib asked how anyone can accept these hadeeth when the Quran says that he was a man of mercy. As the Sheikh gave examples of those utilizing these incorrect narrations, Hajaj Ibn Yusuf AlThaqafi was one of those deceivers to make use of them. Sheikh Yasser al-Habib invites us to look at the Imam’s (Peace be upon them) Hadeeth about the Prophet (Peace be upon him and his pure family), and put them in comparison to those of Abu Hurraira and Aisha. The Imams (Peace be upon them) would know more about their father and grandfather and warned us many times about these incorrect narrations. We protect our children and parents from slander, but the Sheikh asked if we give the same protection to our Prophet Mohammad (Peace be upon him)? There are even narrations of indecent music being played in his house, until Abu Bakr enters and prohibits it. Is Abu Bakr of better morals than the Prophet (Peace be upon him and his pure family)? The Sheikh calls on members of the Bakri sect to use their intelligence and distance themselves from such lies. He added that it is no wonder that Danish cartoonists portray Islam as a religion of violence after hearing of such narrations, and that Islam is given a bad name and reputation. Abu Bakr and Khalid were the ones using hadeeth like these to justify their crimes against humanity to establish their rule and power through fear, claiming that the Prophet (Peace be upon him and his pure family) did the same. It was they who brought mass graves to Arabia. Sheikh Yasser al-Habib also spoke of Abu Bakr’s hunting down those who refused to pay Zakaat, and fighting them, and how these same actions occur in the Middle East today, with the offenders justifying their actions by indicating that their caliph did the same. In other Bakri sources such as Al-Tareekh Al-Kabeer that the Sheikh researched, he found reports of the Prophet (Peace be upon him and his pure family) nailing people to walls and burning people alive. Are the Bakris aware of how bad this all is? Similar reports exist of Imam Ali (Peace be upon him) as well. With regards to him being added later on to the respected caliphs by the Bakri sects, the Sheikh explained that this happened only after they discovered that distancing themselves from him splits the Ummah into sections beyond control. As Sheikh Yasser al-Habib explained in his detailed lecture, all these claims that the Prophet and Imam Ali (Peace be upon them both) had violent tendencies were just to allow the Ummayads to commit their crimes without too much criticism, resulting in the terrorist attacks that we suffer from today. It is because of this that we have to familiarise ourselves across the Middle East and the world with the pure teachings of the twelve Imams (Peace be upon them), which teach us justice, but mercy at the same time.
