Also being fortunate to have been raised in a household where my parents listened to numerous different artists that helped shape my mind, I than later discovered classical music on my own. Recalling even my mother saying:You play a few seconds of a musical piece, and Steph can tell you who composed it when I was just around 10-12 years old (or even younger). I continued with my love for music listening to just about anything from rap, rockabilly, rock, metal, country, jazz and blues. Metal music always spoke to me most of all, due to its empowering nature; although many will tell you it has the opposite effect. Just listen to the lyrics said by Johnny Cash in this song, hold on to that mentality when you think of it. The world is not always a beautiful place. Especially, when you are suffering. Only when you learn to appreciate and learn from it, can you truly understand. Sorry for the long rant, but this will also help you understand why I always wear black. Thank you for reading.
