mass food production is BIG MONEY, & it requires taking every short-cut in the book, ie, destroying pests & blights so that these huge crops can be brought to market on an enormous scale as efficiently & rapidly as possible, generating huge volumes of cash, & cornering the market on various commodities which means guaranteed profits from here to the moon forever.....the chemical companies are solutions providers to these huge investment concerns, & once a precedent has been established, as it has been, it just takes over & becomes the norm.....this entire situation is driven by money, big money, & greed, the need to control the market for the sake of enormous profits.....remember, these kinds of people look at the world as their personal plantation, & the rest of us are the labor & the parasites with which they must endure in order to achieve their goals of building & maintaining an empire of never-ending wealth......&, now that the whole world is under their yoke, the only way that we can break the chains is to have a mass movement amongst growers & consumers to return to small-scale local organic & responsible farming.....people have been complicit in that they have migrated to the cities for factory jobs & administrative jobs, & they have abandoned both the land & simple practice of participation by all in food production at the grass roots level, which is an entire connectivity which has been lost by an overwhelming number of people as urban living in the concrete jungle & the suburban strip world have been either embraced by or imposed on the masses......the food industry has huge political power, because they not only control so much of the food supply, but the whole market-place is integral to what they do because so much money flows upstream & downstream through them, so they have huge political power, & the ability to basically self-regulate, because the government licks their boots, not the other way around.....so, getting chemicals approved, & sweeping the dirty little secrets under the carpet goes on & on, until the consequences become a mountain which one day collapses, & then its too late, the damage has already been done.....the biological disruption caused by the use of chemicals & all that means in terms of human health & the environment & the eco-system.....greed & the drive for profit & control of markets is literally killing us, & the calculated risks are acceptable to these people who sit in their board-rooms......totally obscene, these people are the grand criminals of all time, the bloodiest pirates, the biggest & most deadly parasites......apathy. ignorance & dependency are the ways in which WE, give them permission, & WE become complicit in their crimes
