more proof that, as with Reagan, Cheney has lost his mind in old age. he is now claiming that the U.S. is cutting Defense spending to fund food stamps, and that Obama is the first President to cut Defense forces after a War. Cheney, as Secretary of Defense under G.H.W. Bush, proposed and ran the draw down of Military Forces right after the 1991 Gulf War. they were offering Early Out and draw down bonuses for anyone who left. I was sent a letter asking me to do that in 1991. it had HIS signature on it. seems he has forgotten that. must have drank the same Kool Aid Reagan did, and has gone senile. that, or he just enjoys lying. and btw, more Soldiers have need of those Food Stamps Cheney talks about than he would like to admit, and that increased heavily under HIS admin as Sec Def. those were HIS Soldiers to care for and he didnt. wonder why not.
