my Mum sadly lost her fight for life on 23rd January after suffering with COPD for many years. Mum was told in her 60s that she was borderline for COPD and if she stopped smoking the damage would not reverse but she would not get worse. Needless to say her addiction to cigarettes won, she struggled breathing and the past year it has broken my heart to see her gasping for breath just walking along our hallway. Mum was 81 and had a good life, mum moved in with me 12 years ago and the whole family have looked after her as she was loved so much. We were all with her when she passed over and I hope she is a better place where she can breathe again. If you are in the early stages of COPD please think about giving up smoking, I do not mean to lecture anybody but seeing my Mum suffer for so long I just wanted you to know how it all ends xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
