Her spleen is very enlarged, according to the xray, and the vet said it could be cancerous or benign, but wouldnt know unless she operates...she said the operation would be complicated and time consuming... and she still could bleed out. no guarantees. I said what would happen if there was no surgery, and she said my dog would live another 6 mos or less since it would be a given that the tumor would cause a bleed out, and she could crash and burn immediately... we will not do surgery... she has been losing weight, etc. it is very sad...
