my wife often makes fun of me cause i remember things, a lot of things i did back in the day. last weekend me and some baseball dads were telling stories of the past and i got on some stories from baseball. some of these are funny and some were not but here are some. you other guys can add to it not so funny was matlock hitting me in the back of the head while trying to throw to 2nd base as i was pitching. funny was del trying to hit the slip pitch during the baxter springs game. funny, matlock throwing the ball at a player from coffeyville that bumped him at home plate. missed him from 10 feet away. funny, matlock puking out the back of the bus funny, troy hall putting chew in zimmermans mouth while he was trying to sleep on the bus. funny, me throwing a punch at thouvy, missing cause he was only 4 feet tall then throwing him to the ground. watching billy yell at me afterward. funny was thouvy punching, hall and i think del, maybe showtime and bubba and hitting hunter in the batting cage with a baseball. funny, showtime hitting a homerun through the uprights somewhere. funny, bubba pitching with his left arm then changing to his right arm in mid inning and the umpire said no warm up pitches cause we didnt switch pitchers. funny billy locking himself out of his room in winfield cause he was pissed at most of us. funny, barnow almost getting his ass kicked by the sheik in manhattan. thats all i got for now.
