nationalfoodgroup National Food Group - Novi, MI (Greater Detroit Area) Customer Service Representative Job Description National Food Group, has an immediate opportunity for a motivated and positive individual to join our Exclusive Markets team in the position of Customer Service Representative for its corporate headquarters in Novi, MI. Salary range is commensurate with experience. The role of the Customer Service Representative is to help ensure a high level of satisfaction among current customers by interacting with customers to provide information about products, service and deliveries and resolve product and delivery issues. Acts as a liaison with the Logistics department to track and resolve delivery issues. Provides customers with order and delivery confirmations. Essential Duties: Fields inbound customer calls and emails, responds to requests for information and/or forwards request to appropriate team member Resolves product complaints and works with accounting department to issue credit memos Double check orders for accuracy Send order confirmations and estimated time of product arrival to customers Manages freight board and tracks orders through the logistics process Interacts with the logistics department to resolve delivery issues and reports all updates back to the customer and the team Works with logistics on route designs to decrease number freight issues, freight cost reduction, increase on-time performance Calls current customers to provide updated product information and strengthen customer relationships.
