The cream seats seemed to be a Napa leather, and every possible metal fixture was detailed with chrome. It had a dashboard display Kid knew you couldnt buy and it still had a hint of that new car smell. As Aplhee switched off the engine, Kids bones settled, free from the vibrative power of whatever modded engine was under the hood. A beast for a beast, makes sense. Alphee indicated the end of the journey with the look of were here to Kid in the rearview and a crank of the handbrake. Alphee led the way, sleepily followed by Bebe, still groggy from her nap. Kid followed sheepishly, but at least 3 steps back, his brain trying to comprehend the days events and a feeling of its not over yet. Stepping into the foyer, 3 gentlemen can be seen sat behind a counter. One acknowledges Alphee straight away and in some sort of eastern block accent saysevening sir and the others chime in, in unison evening sir. Alright guys replies Alphee, never breaking his stride as he walks past them toward an elevator. One of the staff catches Kids gaze and gives him a look of unfamiliarity. Upon entering the lift Bebe hits the button for penthouse, then explains to Kid Those three there are the Serbs... We call em Serbs-R-Us coz they probably share the same brain and as the heads of security their task is simple... Just watch the place. Yeah, they can be hard work sometimes, but theyre loyal, and loyalty goes a long way in my book adds Alphee whilst casually picking his teeth. Eww bro, youre such a dog you know that! Says Bebe disgusted at her brothers unhygienic approach of shoving fingers in his mouth. Yes... Yes I am chuckled Alphee to himself still going for gold in a back molar. Kid glanced at Bebe, thinking its almost as if upon entering the building shes become Princess Diana. You would never of thought just hours ago she was naked, legs casually spread, claiming to have the best punani in all of London! DING!! The lift indicates theyve reached their destination. Kid not knowing what to be expect hesitates stepping out of the lift. Come on you says Bebe as she grabs his hand and leads him out the lift. They follow Alphee shortly down a pristine white corridor to a pair of intricately patterned reinforced wooden doors. At least 10ft in height, the doors, obviously hand made and crafted to the finest detail are etched with what appears to be Werewolf tales of old. Although exquisite they seem very out of place, like a collectors item forcibly implanted into a modern surrounding. Music, similar in sound to last night when kid had encountered Bebe, can be heard slightly. Muffled, but only due to the huge doors blocking the sonics. Alphee rings a bell and looks to his left up at what appears to be a security camera. All of sudden the music locks off. Kid steadies himself for what lurks behind the door. Maybe another bouncer... He clenches his fists with Anticipation. A latch can be heard unlocking and the door swings open to reveal not a burly bouncer, but a slim, wiry teen, who could be an Abercrombie & Fitch model if it wasnt for some sorry attempt to grow a beard. Alpheeeeee!! Youre back!! Wazzzzzuuuuuppp!! then looking behind him and shoutin in to the house Hey guys!, Alphees back!! Chapter 8 - What did you expect? The Abercrombie (and bumfluff) model noticing Kid piped up and asked Erm Alphee... Whos the new guy? Alphee replied this Runt is our vampiric friend, battyman aka Kid... Now are you gunna move out the way or what? As Runt moved aside to reveal the inner workings of the household Kid was tense with anticipation. He could see there was a serious view through huge windows straight ahead, and a widescreen tv to the left and a sofa to the right and... Everything was... Surprisingly.... Normal. Alphee chuckled at Kids amazement look mate, the gothic decor stops at the door! We have to keep a low profile you know chimed Bebe. They all entered the main space of the front room, everything was open plan. Kid thought to himself for a pack of wild dogs they all certainly have style. He made himself comfortable on the sofa. Runt, still observing Kid like a puppy would observe a new chew toy suddenly says well youre definitely not normal, I thought it was because my music was playing too loud, but no, its seems you defo have no heartbeat!?... Cool!! Well do something... You know... Batty Bebe and Alphee just looked at eachother as if to say too easy for the obvious pun and just resorted to a smile of mutual understanding. Kid replied like what? Can you fly?... Orrr transform into a killer bat? Orrr... Kid seeming uncomfortable at being put on the spot just looked at Bebe. Seeing his distress she cut in, Runt, leave him alone, hes had a long day. Aplhee had another demolition phase today so Kids probably gunna stay with us for a while. Alphee turned to Kid with a smirkby the way, no hard feelings Kid shrugged off Alphees sarcasm, and walked to the window to observe the view of London at night. What a day it had been. Oi Runt, where is Reen and Sabre? Asked Bebe. Gone on the hunt, they left only moments before you got here, I thought you wouldve seen them on your way up replied Runt. Well its getting late, we better join them asap. That bloody Sabre, always so bloody impatient! You coming batty boy? Said Alphee now looking at Kids reflection as he looked through the window. Bebe cut in before kid could reply Hes not ready for all of that Alphee Ready for what? Said Kid, who was starting to feel anxious again. Alphee just smirked with a demonic glare the hunt my boy, the hunt. I wanna see what a vampire is made of No fair!! All of sudden Runt piped up Ive been asking to go for ages... This guy turns up and gets to out on the hunt first night!? What about me!? Alphee quickly shut him down, Youre too small Runt, the hunt is for the big dogs, how many times? He rolls his eyes now you two lets get moving, we cant let Reen and Sabre have all the fun! With a hand signal to leave, Alphee led kid and Bebe out of the house past the gothic door into the passageway heading back to the lift. As the doors of the lift began to close before it made its decent. Kid sheepishly spoke up erm... By the way guys, what are we hunting? Alphee with that now infamous grin replied youll see Chapter 9 Marking territory
