#nfcs week, day 3) After writin such a wonderful article about yesterdays nfcs week which was filled with mixed emotions... I was totally unable to share it on facebook due to very bad network receptions.. And as such my article got lost in the atmospheric space of opera mini. And dt has gotten me so downhearted I cant just start writin anoda article on that same topic as articles are bein written based on inspiration... So I wanna ask for indulgence for nt keepin my promise of updatin everyday of the NFCS week programme.. But I promise to bring an elaborate description of todays events later tonight.. A hint of what happend yday anyways... Satellite phase 1s cook dressed best for the cookin competition(,but shey na dressin dey determine d best food ni??) Shior!! *tongue out* Anyways for those who came to dress well instead of cookin better, school gate came 2nd nd also won the best dressed table...(Paranra) After d tastin of d egusi (melon soup for dose wey no kno wetin b egusi) by d judges, all hall representatives were praised for actually cookin far better dan d ladies (ladies better go rub more greases on ur elbow in d kitchen) and no results were called to pick an eventual winner wit all halls feelin satisfied with the efforts of their representatives. Then came d fashion show/mr nd mrs NFCS competition which dabbled on late into d night admist lots of drama which included school gate feelin cheated about a certain scenerio which led to deduction of their points for the female category.. But the shock of the night was wen the osekita representative missed the simplest question on earth which culd av earned osekita precious points wen he said it was BRAZIL that won the last CHAMPIONs league... Men!! Dat very split second I almost fainted... Coz evn d ladies who dnt kno hw football is evn played knew it was REAL MADRID.. But I guess dts life u can never know everytyn. Then came the gele (headgear) competition by d guys of which PMANOR carried 3rd for osekita(I suppose carry 1st,dem dupe mii),satellite phase 1 carried 2nd nd school gate was d eventual winnEr with a very wicked satellite dish gele. Nobody go tell mi say dt guy mama no b fashion designer. Ds followed wit tie knottin competition by the females of which school gate again carried 1st,satellite phase 1 carried 2nd nd satellite phase 2 carried 3rd. However, the various contestants for the MR and MRs were subjected to various individual tests to showcase their talents nd indeed we had some shockin performances, while some ladies who seem to b d most gentle in church were able to dig it with wonderful dancesteps(thinkin of recruitin dem into virtue sef) some dudes went dia to dance with two left legs. E.g satellite phase 1s representative who danced personally like a cockroach dances in hot oil.. Hehehehe Followed by wack voices nd more funny talent showoff by d contestants. In all, after all d categories of the fashion show/mr nd mrs nfcs, osekitas male representative nd school gates female representatives were given red card. Nd the remainin contestants were subjected to votes to determine the eventual winners. Finally, the programme wrapped up with the make up competition which again was won by school gate, satellite phase 1 carryin 2nd nd all others tieing on 3rd. Though there were some very unfriendly nd ungodly events dt raised its head yesterday all in d name of ANGER or feelin cheated,I refuse to include it in ds report as I feel they are just irrelevances nd unsportsmanship behaviour which tends to take place at competitions. In summary, yesterday was a fantastic day for off school gate, followed by satellite phase 1, my dear OSEKITA didnt perform very well as expected but our case is just the case of a ram that ta idi si eyin to bring agbara!! We will give our all towards attainin the best hall. Until later, wen I bring todays events I want us all to keep livin the faith. NFCS Pmanor
